Creating an Account

To start using Hawkra, you need to create an account. The registration process takes less than a minute and requires only a display name, email address, and password. After registering, you will verify your email before gaining full access to the platform.

How It Works​

Step 1: Navigate to the Registration Page​

Go to hawkra.io and click the Try Free button in the top-right corner of the navigation bar, or click Create your account from the login page. This takes you to the registration form.

Step 2: Fill Out the Registration Form​

The registration form has three fields:

  • Display Name — The name shown to other users in shared workspaces and throughout the platform. Enter the name you want others to see (for example, your full name or a preferred alias).
  • Email Address — Your email address, used for account verification, login, and notifications. This must be a valid email address you have access to.
  • Password — Your account password. Must be at least 10 characters long and no more than 128 characters. Choose a strong password that combines letters, numbers, and special characters.

You must also accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy by checking the agreement checkbox before submitting the form.

Step 3: Verify Your Email​

After submitting the registration form, Hawkra sends a verification code to the email address you provided. A verification modal appears on screen where you can enter the 6-character code from the email.

  • The verification code expires after a set period. A countdown timer is displayed in the modal.
  • If the code expires or you did not receive it, click the Resend button to request a new code.
  • The verification modal survives page refreshes, so you can safely switch to your email client and back without losing your progress.

Step 4: First Login​

Once your email is verified, you are automatically logged in and redirected to the Workspaces dashboard. From here, you can create your first workspace and begin importing vulnerability data.

  • Try Free button on the homepage takes you directly to the registration form.
  • Sign in to existing account link at the top of the registration page navigates to the login form if you already have an account.
  • Resend button in the verification modal sends a new code if the original expired or was not delivered.
  • Back to Home link at the bottom of the registration form returns you to the main website.

Use a password manager to generate and store a strong password. Hawkra enforces a minimum of 10 characters, but longer passwords with a mix of character types provide significantly better security.

If you are using a self-hosted instance, registration availability depends on your administrator's configuration. Registration may be disabled entirely, or the instance may have reached its maximum user capacity. Contact your administrator if you see a "Registration Disabled" or "Registration Unavailable" message.

The email verification step cannot be skipped on the SaaS platform. Make sure you have access to the email address you register with. Check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive the verification code within a few minutes.
